This deliverable is the Layman’s report of the project,a document that summarises the work and results of the project along the five years duration as well as its long-term environmental benefits.

This manual is the result of a process of critical analysis by the LIFE MIDMACC project stakeholders involved in each of the project actions. Based on the identification of the successes and errors in the design and development of the 3 types of pilot experience, it has been possible to select the key elements and factors that have determined the achievement of the expected results in the pilot adaptation experiences in mid-mountain.

This guide compiles main results and conclusions of the LIFE MIDMACC project. The guide summarizes, first of all, the risk analysis of the Mediterranean mid-mountain to the impacts of climate change; then, the methodology used, the results, the basin upscaling and the recommendations based on the deployment of the measures in three territories (La Rioja, Aragon and Catalonia). Finally, other adaptation measures are proposed for the Mediterranean mid-mountain based on the work carried out with the actors of the territory.
