The University of Zaragoza is a public research and higher education institution currently hosting more than 30,000 students, with 23 Centres, 56 Departments, 11 Research Institutes and 3 Research Centres. Its mission is to offer to the society the development and application of the most advanced ideas or techniques in scientific, technological and humanistic matters. Our research group includes personal from the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences that carry out their teaching and research work at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zaragoza and the Higher Polytechnic School of Huesca in higher studies related to veterinary sciences, agronomy and environmental sciences.
In LIFE MIDMACC, UNIZAR carries out the analysis of the production, diversity and bromatological quality of the pastures after the actions of scrubland clearing and forest management in the experimental plots of La Rioja, Aragon and Catalonia and their monitoring over the years 2020-2023. In addition to this main action, it participates in communication and dissemination of the results tasks and supports other actions of the Project.
