This video shows the work developed in MIDMACC project to upscale the practices implemented in the pilot experiences at the river basin level, with a focus in the replicability and transferability of this actions.
This video presents the pasture and forest management practices implemented in LIFE MIDMACC to promote the transferability and replicability of the actions.
This video proposes to show the work carried out by LIFE MIDMACC in the adaptive management of mountain and mid-mountain viticulture as a key piece of the mosaic landscape and encourages its replication.
Transferability means to identify the adaptive landscape management practices that best suit other mid-mountain areas and to set up the basis for a real replicability. With this video, we explain the activities developed in the project for the technical advising and planning to implement these practices in other three European mid-mountain areas, whereas promoting the transfer of knowledge by organizing demonstration workshops and practical visits.
This document was produced by the representatives of 9 LIFE projects (LIFE PASTORALP, LIFE AGRICOLTURE, LIFE GRACE, LIFE IMAGINE, LIFE MIDMACC, LIFE REGENERATE, LIFE SHEPFORBIO, LIFE XEROGRAZING, LIFE CLIMAMED) and 1 “NOT-LIFE” project (SUSALPS) who were invited to join a hands-on workshop held during the final conference of LIFE PASTORALP project. All these projects deal with pastoral systems and global challenges representing different environments ranging from the Alps to the Mediterranean mountains.
