Article: “Pyrenean and European experts discuss about climate and global change in mid-mountain areas”

An article that summaries the European Seminar on Landscape management and climate change adaptation, organised by the project LIFE MIDMACC on 7th June 2021

The article explains that around 100 experts met day in a telematic format for the first Transfer and Replicability Seminar of the European project
LIFE MIDMACC. The aim of the meeting was the management of the mid-mountain landscape to reduce its vulnerability to climate and global change. The participants were from five European Union member countries and there were also representatives from the seven Pyrenean areas, as well as the participation of Euromontana (European Association of Mountain Areas) and other entities. The meeting took place in parallel to the study and negotiation of the details of the implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) for the period 2021-2027, and specific measures that could be included in it were discussed.
